Sometimes you try to activate the license on your site and you get the message “License activation is not authorized for this site”. This means that the site you’re trying to activate the license on is not on the whitelisted list of sites on your freemius Dashboard.
To fix this, go to your dashboard at users.freemius.com and look for the “licenses” tab on the left side menu, then click on the license you’re trying to activate, a right-hand side panel will pop up; look for the “restricted sites” button and click on it. From this point, you can add the site you are trying to activate the license on to the list or you can delete the ones you already have to avoid restrictions.
After doing this, go back to your dashboard on WordPress and activate the license, it should work this time.
