Ninja Forms – Allow Users to View Submissions on the Front-end

In the previous tutorial of this short series, we showed you how to allow users to create Ninja forms on the frontend.

In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to display the Ninja Forms submissions on the frontend.

Besides the Ninja Forms plugin, you need the WP Frontend Admin plugin, which allows you to display any wp-admin page on the frontend to create frontend dashboards and web apps using WordPress plugins behind the scenes.

Once you install WP Frontend Admin and Ninja Forms, follow these steps to allow users to view form submissions on the frontend.

1- Display the Ninja Forms submissions page on the front-end

To display the Ninja Forms submissions page on the frontend, you don’t need to program anything. Instead, you can do it with one click or using a simple shortcode.

To display the form submissions on the frontend, go to Ninja Forms > Submissions and click View on the frontend.

You can also use a simple shortcode to display the form submissions on pages created with any of the following page builders:

  • Elementor
  • Visual Composer
  • Gutenberg
  • Divi
  • Beaver Builder
  • WP Page Builder
  • Page Builder by SiteOrigin
  • Oxygen
  • Live Composer
  • Brizy
  • Etc.

You just need to use the following shortcode:

[vg_display_admin_page page_url="edit.php?post_type=nf_sub"]

Now you need to click Preview to see the form submissions page on the frontend.

2- Select the basic information of the page

WP Frontend Admin will display the Quick Settings panel on the left side of the screen. This panel allows you to configure your frontend pages easily.

You can start configuring your page by selecting the following information:

  • Page title – Enter the page title in this field.
  • URL slug – Use only keywords to enter the URL slug.
  • Page template – You can select the Default template to use our theme’s appearance.
  • Add to this menu – You can add this page to a navigation menu.

3- Hide any unnecessary elements

You can simplify your frontend pages by removing any unnecessary elements. Just follow these two simple steps:

  1. Click Hide element.
  2. Click the element you want to hide.
  3. Repeat these steps with every element you want to hide.

4- Edit any text on your frontend submissions page

Besides hiding any unnecessary elements, you can edit any texts on your frontend pages. This allows you to customize your pages even more.

  1. Click Edit texts.
  2. Edit all the texts you want.
  3. Click Stop editing texts.

Once you’re done editing the texts on the front-end submissions page, you can click Save to apply the changes.

This is how the submissions page will look once it’s published.
